Founded in April 1991 by a group of engineers with strong engineering expertise, Avision designs, manufactures, and markets a complete range of quality, high performance scanners and key components for multi-function products. Through innovative product development, strategic partnerships and successful business models, Avision has become a leading supplier in the scanner industry.

To ensure the world class product quality and reliability, Avision attained ISO-9001 certification in 1993 and ISO-14001 certification in early 2002. The implementation of ISO-9001 significantly helps every employee build quality into every aspect of the company’s operation.

Avision understands that continuous innovation is the key to success. Hence we unceasingly encourage creative ideas and invest a significant portion of our revenue in research and development to enhance our product quality and features. Due to these efforts, our business success is achieved.

To meet the strong demand from the market, Avision has expanded its scanner capacity to 300,000 units each month and also extended its factories overseas. September 1998	Annual sales exceeded NT$3,800M(US$108M). Company stocks went public at the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
December 1998	Taiwan's Finance Ministry's Security & Futures Committee permits Avision Inc. to go public.
July 1999	Completed the additional construction of 3rd and 4th floor of factory(entire working space 30,253 square meters).
December 1999	Annual sales exceeded NT$6,200M(US$177M).
February 2000	Obtained ISO-14001 certificate.
December 2000	Annual revenue exceeded NT$9,400M (US$268M).
June 2001	Increased capital to NT$1,836,319,000(US$52.4M).
November 2001	Suzhou (China) factory grand opening (31,000 square meters).
September 2003	Started running PLM(Project Management System).
October 2003	Obtained the qualification of business operation headquarter.
October 2004	Announced Laser MFP to officially enter the MFP market.
November 2005	Announced AM6120 MFP to officially enter the market.
September 2006	Established the 2nd manufactoring base in China- Avision Business Tech.
January 2008	Increased capital to NT$2,263,205,000(US$70.7M)

Dec-1997	A3 size scanner (AVA3), digital copy device (DS300) won "Taiwan's Symbol of Excellence" from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Jul-1998	Scan Copier won "The Most Innovative Product" Award from PC Magazine in Singapore Computer Show.
Dec-1998	Annual revenue exceeded NT$3,800 M and ranked 1998's fastest growing company in Information and Electronics industry.
